Jay-Z has made headlines last week after it was announced that he signed a deal with the NFL and holding a press conference with the NFL’s commissioner Roger Goodell.
The announcement was made as a way to inspire social change. Many people did not take the news lightly and voiced their opinions and concerns on social media.
Recently, Bryan Michael Cox spoke out about Jay’s move stating that the Brooklyn rapper had called Jermaine Dupri a year prior and talked him out of the same deal. As reported by The Root, Cox said, “We’re also talking about a guy who single-handedly picked up the phone and called Jermaine to tell him not to do it… When we all had that meeting with the NFL, all that s**t was part of the same s**t.”
Funk Flex also confirmed with Jermaine Dupri that Jay-Z did talk him out of the deal with the NFL. See post below.
