Love wins.

Da Brat and her partner, Jesseca Dupart, joined the Tamron Hall show and opened up about the reactions they received after confirming their romantic relationship.

Back in March Da Brat revealed to her Instagram followers that her and popular entrepreneur, Jesseca, were in a relationship. “Never have I EVER. Needless to say… I’ve always been a kind of private person until I met my heart’s match who handles some things differently than I do. Thank you baby @darealbbjudy for far more than this incredible birthday gift. I have never experienced this feeling. It’s so overwhelming that often I find myself in a daze hoping to never get pinched to see if it’s real so I can live in this dream forever.”

Da Brat’s long-term musical partner, Jermaine Dupri joined the talk show with the ladies.

During the interview, he opens up about Da Brat coming out. “To see her in this space of just comfort, it just allows me to know that – it’s almost back to the same space that she was in when I first met her. She’s, at this point, invincible, and she can do whatever she wants to do,” said Dupri. “I’m very happy to see that she’s in a comfortable space and just happy.”

Da Brat then told Hall, “this is the first time I have ever heard JD mention anything, ever, in my whole life about who I’m dating, what I’m doing, who I’m seeing. They reached out to him to comment when I came out, he turned them down, he wasn’t doing interviews, he really doesn’t interfere with my life. He lets me live and do whatever it is I need to do to make myself happy.”
