Many across the world are mourning the loss of hip-hop artist, and community activist Nipsey Hussle. Fellow Los Angeles native, Jhene Aiko, who recently released a music video featuring Nipsey, has took to Insatgram to let fans know she will be delaying the release of her new music.
A fan commented on one of Aikos photos, asking her “girl can we get some new music?” Aiko let the fan know, “out of respect” for Hussle, she will be postponing all new music. “Out of respect for Nipsey, I will be postponing the release of the new music I planned on releasing this month..” she responded.
Jhene is not the only artist who will delay the release of new music in light of the untimely passing of Nipsey. Rapper’s Kash Doll, YG, Schoolboy Q, Machine Gun Kelly and others are also postponing new music.
The reason “ hustla” is being pushed back… sorry bratz but let’s pay our respects to nip!
