Although his tweets have since been deleted, rapper Joyner Lucas is facing backlash for seemingly offering words of encouragement to R. Kelly, following the release of the ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ docu-series. The rapper took to his twitter to post a tweet to R. Kelly. In the tweet he stated, “I know this has to be one of the hardest patches in your life right now @rkelly. I’m literally watching the entire world condemn you and turn they back on you. I’m not saying you don’t deserve it. All I’m saying is please don’t hurt yourself or take yourself out. I’d still be sad.”

Although he did not directly say R. Kelly was right, fans did not appreciate the tweet as it appears he’s offering Kelz some sort of comforting. It appears Lucas got a whole of the internets wrath because he deleted the tweet.

The rapper then posted and deleted another tweet, “People are upset because I’m telling someone to NOT kill themselves? Wtf? Lol like bro. Y’all cray. I clearly said I’m NOT saying he don’t deserve what he’s getting. I’m not on his side. But he shouldn’t kill himself.”

Again, the internet chewed him up causing him to state he should of watched the documentary before commenting.
