Only a few days after all of the charges were dropped against Jussie Smollett, the actor has been nominated for an NAACP Image Award. Smollett is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor In Drama, making this year his fourth consecutive year nominated in this category.

Although there have been mixed feelings about Smollett‘ case and the charges being dropped, they are a lot of people who stand behind the actor. One of those people is Anthony Anderson.

Anderson recently told Variety, “I hope he wins. I’m happy for him that the system worked for him in his favor because the system isn’t always fair, especially for people of color. So I’m glad it worked out for him.”
