Kid Cudi is taking a trip down memory lane.

As reported on Bossip, he spoke on his time in rehab in 2016. During that time, the “Day N Night” rapper checked into a facility because he was depressed and experienced “suicidal urges.”

The article points out at this time, Kanye spoke on Cudi’s behalf and told the world he was doing well and that he wished him the best. Kanye also acknowledged him as his brother (not by blood). Kanye said, “Kid Cudi is my brother.” Kid Cudi said when his mom showed him what Ye said, he started “bawling.” Cudi said,

“My mom was visiting me, And [she] came up to me and was like, ‘Look at this.’ And it was Kanye in concert. I started bawling my eyes out. Like I just started weeping like a big baby. Because we had fallen out, and there was beef. But that’s my brother. I just kind of realized in that moment…I realized that he really loved me.”

Cudi has an upcoming documentary set to be released on November 5th. It’s called A Man Named Scott. It’s directed by Robert Alexander and will be available on Amazon Prime. Check out the trailer:
