Congratulations to Killer Mike!
The Atlanta-born rapper has become the very first recipient of the “Billboard Change Maker Award” during tonight’s Billboard Music Awards.
The award was presented by Atlanta’s mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms, where she spotlighted the rapper’s efforts to bring positivity to his community through his advocacy. Killer Mike has played a huge part in bringing financial literacy, social justice, and equality within the Black community.
Billboard also tweeted out their congratulations to the rapper calling him “a true social justice warrior.” See the post below.
