On Thursday (June 13th,2019), Kim Kardashian returned to the White House and made a huge announcement. According to Complex, in her latest efforts of criminal justice reform, the reality TV star has partnered with Lyft to provide “former prisoners with gift cards to be used to get them to and from job interviews, work, etc.”
During the press conference Kardashian stated, “Everyone wants the community to be safe, and the more opportunity we have and that they have and the support that we help give them, the safer everyone will be.”
The announcement is Kardashian’s latest move in her ongoing efforts for criminal justice reform.
