Videos of Kyrie Irving has surfaced on social media, which shows the NBA star partying without a mask on.

Since the videos have been circulating, the NBA has launched its own investigation. It has been reported that the Brooklyn Nets star was at a family birthday party. The video displays, Irving smiling and dancing with his sister.

It hasn’t been clarified how recent the videos are but if the investigation concludes that they were taken recently, it could be a breach of the NBA’s coronavirus protocols.

Some of the NBA’s protocols forbid players from going to lounges, bars, and nightclubs, as well as attending gatherings with more than 15 people in attendance.

The general of the Nets released a statement saying, “We are aware of a video on social media featuring Kyrie Irving at a family gathering. We are reviewing the circumstances with both Kyrie and the NBA in order to determine compliance with health and safety protocols.”

He added, “Kyrie will have the opportunity to address his absence when he is ready to do so.”

Irving is set to miss the fourth game against the Denver Nuggets and is also expected to miss the upcoming games against the New York Knicks and the Orlando Magic.
