Our girl Laura Stylez took a trip to Taipei to witness who will be crowned the 2019 Red Bull Music 3Style IX World Champion.
Over 1,200 DJ’s signed up to be a part of the competition which would give bragging rights to any turntablist who wanted to prove that they were the best. Each competitor had to showcase their skills on three different music genres, and prove that they can keep the energy of the party going, while impressing the judges.
DJ Jazzy Jeff, Skratch Bastid, DJ Craze, Nina Las Vegas, and DJ Nu-Mark all judged the competition which ultimately to DJ J. Espinosa of San Francisco, California.
Other runner ups include DJ Fummy of Japan and DJ Trapment who ended the competition in third place.
