This is probably not going to help the repaired relationship between Lil’ Wayne and Birdman.

On Friday (Sept 28), we learned that Birdman and Young Thug could possibly be charged due to new evidence allegedly proving their involvement in a 2015 shooting of Lil’ Wayne’s tour bus.

Some of that evidence includes phone calls with Jimmy Winfrey, Young Thug’s road manager who previously plead guilty to the alleged shooting. Parts of one phone call in prison between Winfrey and Birdman have leaked, and it suggests that Birdman was going to repay him for his actions.

“Come out and get [his&#93 money,” Birdman can be heard saying, before assuring him “you did everything [he&#93 could do, boss. It’s strictly business, man.” Some of the new evidence also includes Young Thug’s call log which shows that he called Winfrey eight times in 12 minutes before the shooting.

This issue is part of the long narrative in the road it took for Lil’ Wayne to release Tha Carter V, which was finally shared with the world on Friday.

The beef doesn’t seem over though, as Young Thug seems to be preparing Barter 7, where a previewed track could be some bars that may be talking about Weezy himself.

“I think my idol is a hater,” the snippet says in the track.
