LeBron James is the real MVP!

Reported on The Jasmine Brand, LeBron is joining forces with the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition to find people who are struggling to pay outstanding fees/fines due to a felony conviction. This move is ultimately to help convicted felons become eligible to vote this year. In 2018, Florida passed a law that gives felons the right to vote, but only if all fees, fines, and restitution were paid in full.

Over the summer, LeBron launched More Than A Vote with a collective of other athletes and donated $100,000 to the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition’s fund for residents in Florida. This campaign also teamed up with the NAACP Legal Defense Fund to recruit young people to serve at polling locations in Black communities in swing states, including Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Florida, and Ohio, The New York Times reports.

This is a GREAT move. Election Day is 40 days away, let your voice be heard at the polls and VOTE
