Yandy Smith had to deal with a bit of drama on this season of Love & Hip Hop: New York after it was revealed that she had not officially married her longtime love Mendeecees.
After an extravagant wedding and a special on VH1 she finally dropped the bomb on her man during a phone call. He is currently incarcerated for eight years for pleading guilty to drug trafficking.
Well it looks like she had a change of heart, because she has revealed that she is going to do the paperwork.
Here’s what she told BOSSIP:
“We have definitely decided to go ahead and do the paperwork and all that stuff, not that I was so concerned or cared about that stuff, but it meant a lot to him,” Yandy said. “So it was only right.”
As for the beef with the other baby mama’s that played out on the show here’s what she addressed.
“They went for my family,” Yandy said. “I don’t play when it comes to my children. I don’t play when it comes to my man. I apologized and apologized for my behavior – but you don’t play with somebody’s family. You don’t play with somebody’s man….That’s when I saw red and I just went berserk. I’m not proud of how this season went, but it’s a lesson. Don’t mess with my family.”
