Lil Durk upset some of his fans after collaborating with the country singer, Morgan Wallen.

In February last year, Morgan was filmed saying the n-word. Lil Durk recently defended working with Morgan. TMZ asked Durk about it. According to Durk, Morgan “ain’t no racist.” Durk said, “He ain’t no racist. That’s my boy. We had a long talk. He had his public situation. … I vouch for him, and he good.” Durk continued,

“He ain’t canceled, I talked to him. When I say you ain’t canceled, you ain’t canceled.”

When Morgan used the N-word, Morgan claimed he was out with friends and was intoxicated. In the viral clip, Morgan said, “Take care of this “p****-ass m**********r,” before adding: “Take care of this p****-ass n*****.”

As a result, Morgan found himself surrounded in controversy. The Tennessee native apologized for his actions. Yahoo points out that he promised to donate $500,000 to Black-led organizations, but it’s not clear if he ever followed through.
