On Sunday (June 25), Lil Uzi and his girlfriend JT got into an argument in the middle of the 2023 BET Awards. “F**king groupie,” JT yells at the “Just Wanna Rock” hitmaker before throwing her cellphone at him. “B**ch, don’t ever try me like that. B**ch-a** n**ga.” In videos captured from the incident, you can see Lil Uzi running after the City Girls rapper in the aisle. It appeared later on that the couple made up and returned to the award show. They were seen seated in the front row having what looks to be an intense conversation.

There is speculation that the argument happened because Lil Uzi name-dropped Ice Spice while performing a new song onstage.
