Lil Wayne Celebrates Laker’s Victory By Honoring Kobe Bryant

The Los Angeles, Lakers have a lot to celebrate!

The Lakers beat the Miami Heat in the NBA finals, during the seasons oddest year in history (the pandemic). Lil Wayne chimed in on the celebration by posting an exclusive throwback picture. The rapper shared a photo of him and the late Laker player, Kobe Bryant.

In the picture, Lil Wayne and Kobe are standing side by side. Wayne is holding a basketball trophy and Kobe is pointing at Weezy. In the caption, Wayne wrote, “and another one.”

Throughout Wayne’s career, he was a big fan of the basketball legend. Wayne even named a song in 2009, Kobe Bryant. He performed it recently at the BET Awards. In January, Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant and seven others died in a helicopter accident.
