It’s Carter season!
While we [un]patiently wait to finally hear Tha Carter V after years of anticipation, we will get an opportunity to see Lil’ Wayne celebrate.
He will be awarded BET’s “I Am Hip Hop” Award at the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards on October 6. In the mid-to-late 2000’s Weezy etched his name in hip hop royalty becoming one of the busiest, most popular, and most featured artist during that time with multiple mixtapes and and oft-delayed and leaked Tha Carter III.
The 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards will be held at The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami.
