A California man got sentenced after killing his wife in 2011. William Wallace pushed his then 26-year-old wife, Zazell Preston, into a glass and a toilet until she died. Wallace had Preston’s daughter, eight at the time, help him move the body.
Christmas was the next day, and Wallace propped Preston’s dead body on the couch, put sunglasses on her children (3 & 8), opened
. Wallace stood there with the 7-week old baby he had with Preston. Wallace told the kids, “Mommy ruined
She got drunk and ruined Christmas.”
Wallace was convicted of second-degree murder in April. He’ll spend at least 15 years to life in prison. He’ll get time served for the nine years he’s been in already.
Preston’s family said Wallace has a history of abuse/violence. Preston was studying to be a domestic abuse counselor before Wallace killed her.
