Former NBA player Matt Barnes announced his new venture in Hollywood just in time for Black History Month.
Barnes revealed via Instagram that he finally got the green light on the Huey P. Newton biopic he is putting together.
For those of you who don’t know, Huey P. Newton is the co-founder of the Black Panther Party.
According to Barnes, they’ve begun casting for the film, and already have Keith Powers from the New Edition biopic ready to go!
