During a sit-down interview, Max B, opens up about his past beef with rapper Jim Jones.
Before the beef, Jones and Max had a close friendship that turned sour. According to a 2013 interview, Max B explained that his issue with Jim Jones’ ByrdGang collective was “the collective’s seniority system as well as Jones’ money management.” Fortunately, the two have reconciled since.
During the jailhouse interview, Max expresses, “It was just egos clashing, a lack of respect, a lack of everything. That shit don’t mix well,” Max B said. “It should’ve went a different way. I think today, we would’ve handled the situation different. But, we was young. We was all crazy. Now we’re here, we’re older. We got kids.”
