Meek Mill’s holiday just got a whole lot better. The Philadelphia native celebrated the recent ruling passed by Senate that approved a new Bipartisan Criminal Justice Bill.

This bill will be used to allow ex-cons to attend job training programs and it will also help those who have been convicted as felons for nonviolent felony crimes to see alternative justice.

Once the bill was passed Meek took to his Instagram to acknowledge it with the caption, “This Major!!!  A lot of over sentenced men and women will come home soon!!”.

The Senate voted 87 to 12 to pass this motion.
