It looks like Meek Mill is one step closer to being released from prison.
Judge Genece Brinkley will no longer hold the decision on whether the Philadelphia rapper will be released.
The District Attorney’s Office has officially filed a “shortened motion” to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court saying that he should be released on bail according to reports.
He was sentenced to two to four years in prison for violating probation. Brinkley recently decided against his release on bail earlier this week.
There is currently no timetable for a decision.
