DJ Drama says Lil Uzi’s “Just Wanna Rock” replaced Meek Mill’s “Dreams and Nightmares” as a Philly anthem.

During an interview, DJ Drama made the statement. This is amid the Philadelphia Eagles going to Super Bowl LVII against the Kansas City Chiefs on February 12. DJ Drama said:

“I think it’s fair to say that ‘Just Wanna Rock’ has replaced — with all due respect — ‘Dreams and Nightmares’ as the new anthem of Philadelphia, as the new anthem of the Philadelphia Eagles this year.” He continued,

“I’m looking forward to hearing that song many, many times [throughout] Super Bowl weekend.” Lil Uzi escorted the Eagles during their NFC Championship game last weekend, with “Just Wanna Rock” blasting through the stadium.

Meek Mill seemingly responded via Twitter and said, “Intro been lighting the world for 10 years! Like shaking rooms for years!”

Hip Hop DX points out The Philadelphia Eagles used Meek’s 2012 “Dreams and Nightmares” as their anthem for their Super Bowl LII championship run in 2018.

Do you think “Just Wanna Rock” is the “new anthem?”
