Hot 97’s Megan Ryte is ready for the West Indian Day Parade that is set to hit Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn on September 3rd.
Not only is this her first time experiencing what it takes to get ready for the festivities, she also got the opportunity to try a few things out, such as a PAN lesson at Despers USA Steel Pan Yard.
Megan then headed straight to Sugar Candy Mas to get fitted for her custom costume!
Dressed in a traditional Caribbean piece, Megan Ryte now knows exactly how special this event is for West Indian Culture.
