Megan Thee Stallion is putting music on pause right now.
The Houston, Texas rapper made announced on social media that she’s taking a break. Megan Tweeted, “I’ll be back when it’s time.” On Instagram, “sci-fi” type photos and a video of herself in some sort of machine where she’s recharging. Take a look:

In one of the captions, it says,
“Megan Thee Stallion is recharging! Due to the demands of the Hot Girl lifestyle
Last year alone was a wild ride for Megan. That was her breakout year; she earned her first and second No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 with Beyoncé (“Savage” remix) and Cardi B (“WAP”). She also dropped her debut album, Good News.
Megan also dealt with a traumatic incident in 2020 after the shooting incident that involved Tory Lanez. The case is still ongoing.
