Day 5.

For the Tory Lanez 2020 shooting trial, Megan Thee Stallion’s ex best friend, Kelsey Harris, took the stand again.

Yesterday (December 15) when prosecutors asked Kelsey about an interview with authorities she did in September, she named Tory the shooter, but when she took the stand, she claimed to not remember and pled the 5th. Today (December 16), prosecutors played the recording for the jury.

During the September interview, Kelsey told prosecutors Tory shot Megan. She also said Tory threatened to shoot her. Rolling Stone reports on the audio, Kelsey said,

“He said, ‘My n*gga, I’ll shoot you,” she continued, “He said that to me, and he reached like he was going to grab something, reached toward the middle console, but he never pulled anything.” Also, in the recording, Kelsey said (to Tory), “If you shoot me, you shoot me, I guess it’s my time to go,” according to Law & Crime’s Meghann Cuniff

According to Kelsey, after the shooting, she said,

“I get out of my side and no sooner do you know, you start hearing gunshots going off. I looked up maybe about the second or third gunshot. You see Tory, he’s now in the front seat. I guess he must have jumped over in a smooth transition and he’s leaning over the door.”

Tory Lanez pleaded not guilty; if convicted, he faces 22 years.
