On Friday (Nov. 20), Megan Thee Stallion finally dropped her anticipated debut album Good News.

In parts of the project, she addresses the infamous situation in Hollywood Hills in which Tory Lanez allegedly shot her in the foot. The first song on the album, “Shots Fired” also includes some bars in which many believe were intended for her former best friend Kelsey Nicole.

Megan spits in the track, “who you takin’ shots at, goofy-ass b****? Watchin’ me succeed from your knees, suckin’ d***, I know you want attention from the n****s that I get, I’m a steak, you a side plate, shrimp, stay in your place.”

Following the release, Kelsey Nicole decided to address some of the bars that many were saying were intended for her on Instagram.

“The most weirdo shit she could’ve ever said,” in response to a user who said that Kelsey wants to be Megan “so bad, it’s sad.”

In another post, she made another comment.

“Lol I would never want a soul like hers,” she commented. “Face & body don’t mean shit. Relax.”

Kelsey Nicole was in the car the day Megan Thee Stallion was shot in July. She had been mostly silent since the shooting, with only a few comments after on Instagram.

In August, following speculation on Instagram directly following the shooting, and Megan thee Stallion stating that Tory Lanez shot her, the former best friend denied being the one with the gun.

“I want to clear up the rumors that I shot Megan,” she wrote at the time. “I WASN’T the one with the gun and would never do something like that. However I was present.”

She had also addressed rumors that she was dating Lanez as well at the time.

“Stay hydrated, don’t be thirsty for fake news, she wrote in September.
