Nas name-dropped Doja Cat in his latest single, but according to him.. it wasn’t a diss.

“Sometimes I’m over-black, even my clothes are black/Cash Money with the white tee and the soldier rag,” Nas raps on the King’s Disease track. “We going ultra black, unapologetically black/The opposite of Doja Cat, Michael Blackson black.”

Apparently, Nas was just rhyming. “I was really just saying a rhyme that rhymed with ‘ultra Black,’” Nas said during a recent interview. “I didn’t even think of it, you know what I’m saying? It’s all love.”

“It was just like ‘Michael Blackson black,’” Nas continued. “They’re bars. Just lines. We play with words, man.”

Nonetheless, Doja Cat says she’s dropping a song of her own, titled “N.A.S.”

We’ll just have to wait to hear it.
