Are you jumping on the NFT wave?

Nas is!

As reported on sources, the legendary rapper is selling the royalty rights to two songs as NFTs. Billboard reports this is the first-ever sale for 3LAU’s new startup Royal. Nas will sell 50% of the streaming royalties for “Ultra Black” and “Rare.”

Hip Hop N’ More points out it’ll be released as “tokens with embedded streaming royalty rights” on January 11th. Royal is a startup founded by 3LAU. It reportedly launched last year with one of 3LAU’s tracks. Royal CEO and co-founder Justin Blau (3LAU) spoke on Nas and said,

“Having Nas be the first artist to sell royalty rights through Royal is an incredible affirmation of our mission.”

In a statement, Nas said, “I am always looking for new and unique ways to connect with my fans, so I am excited to partner with Royal on their new endeavor in order for my fans to connect with my music in a new way.”
