It looks like NBA player Sterling Brown will be getting some justice from The City of Milwaukee.According to reports, the city had approved a settlement of $750,000 for Brown after being tased by police officers in 2018 for double parking. As Essence reports, the incident took place on January 26th, 2018, and Brown was approached by a police officer for double parking across two handicap spots outside of a Walgreens. Video footage of the incident shows the officers tackling Brown to the ground and tasing him. He was later arrested but not charged. Brown would end up suing the City of Milwaukee and cited that the officers used excessive force and left his face bruised. The Houston Rockets player, who was playing for Milwaukee at the time of the incident, reached a settlement of $750,000 as well as requesting that the city change policing procedures, including officers having to report anytime they withdraw their weapons.
