The married couple is expecting baby number three!
Some people sent them well wishes, but others made comments and speculations about Ne-Yo’s past. A tweet went viral about Ne-Yo allegedly “forcing” his ex-fiancé, Monyetta Shaw, to get her tubes tied, so they wouldn’t have any more children. The “Because Of You” singer and Monyetta have a two kids. After their relationship ended, Ne-Yo moved on with Crystal and they currently have two children.
TJB also reports Moneyetta said in the past, deciding to get her tubes tied was a “joint decision.” However, a YouTuber addressed the story in a video, and it caught Ne-Yo’s attention. Ne-Yo responded to the YouTuber in his Instagram story and said she was spreading lies, rumors, and misinformation. He took things a step further and messaged her privately. Crystal also addressed the online critics who had something to say about the situation. Crystal said,
“I’m being accurate since you want to be in something so bad. I respect the mother of his kids and facts are facts. He didn’t request nor make anyone do anything. She has moved on and is in love, happy as hell. You should try it. Simple-minded child.”
Ne-Yo revealed last year during Artist Quarantine with our girl TT Torrez that the pandemic “saved his marriage.” They were on the way to getting a divorce but having to be on lock down together brought them closer.
