Nene Leakes speaks out after it was reported that her son, Brentt Leakes, suffered a stroke and heart attack at 23 years old.
Brentt is currently recovering according to Nene, as Brentt was hospitalized earlier this month. In a lengthy Instagram video Nene gives fans an update on his condition.
She explains that she and her family were shocked that her son was suffering which such severe health problems as she reveals he does not do drugs, nor does he drink alcohol. She says, “two weeks ago today Brentt had congestive heart failure and a stroke. He’s only 23, so he’s really young for something like that to happen to him.” She also reveals Brentt is currently having trouble speaking following the stroke.
She also revealed that doctors ran many tests to figure out what caused the heart attack and the stroke. She has asked that everyone continues to pray for his recovery.
