The NFL is currently trending all over the Internet due to it’s latest rule regarding kneeling during the National Anthem.

The NFL is now stating that players along with team personnel must stand during the National Anthem if they are on the sideline.

Players are also allowed to stay in the locker room if they are not going to stand during the National Anthem out on the field.

Teams are now authorized to fine the players who do not abide by the standing rules while on the sideline.

In a press conference, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stated: We want people to be respectful to the national anthem, We want people to stand. That’s all personnel, and make sure they treat this moment in a respectful fashion. That’s something we think we owe. We have been very sensitive in making sure we give players choices, but we do believe that that moment is important and one we are going to focus on.”
