Nick Cannon is spilling the tea.
On a recent episode of Drink Champs, Nick Cannon opens up about his past with Kim Kardashian, who he dated from 2006 to 2007. Despite Kim’s run-in with Ray J, Nick says he was the one who introduce her to the industry. “People were introduced to who she was through me. When Ray J was dating her, she wasn’t really famous. People didn’t know [Kim Kardashian]–they was just like ‘Yo, who’s that chick with Nick? She bad!’ It was one of those.”
He later concluded that the sex tape was made prior to his relationship with Kim Kardashian, despite it not being released until 2007. “I remember I was really in to her… We was on some serious s**t! She broke my heart.”
“I saw Ray J [out on Rodeo Drive]… I was holding [Kim’s] hand and, literally from across the street, he was like ‘You ain’t gonna wanna keep holding her hand soon, watch!’ And I’m thinking he’s just hating!… And I’m like wondering why he said that, and then there started to be these little rumors around that there was this tape… I think he was warning [me]!”
Aside from Kim, Nick spoke about Wild’N Out potentially ending. “It’s bittersweet because it’s one of those things where I was ready to walk away from it ’cause I felt like so many had walked away from me. And I didn’t need it anymore–I’ve been blessed enough to have ownership of the brand… To be able to create a brand at such a level.”
