Can you see this?  Nipsey Hussle was set to play Snoop Dogg in the Tupac biopic, “All Eyez On Me.”

Nipsey Hussle and Snoop Dogg had a great friendship, and it was very befitting that Nipsey portray Snoop in a movie. The two was often compared to each other courtesy of their Cali swag.

Director Benny Boom sat down for an interview where he spoke about Nipsey Hussle.  He expressed that he wanted Nipsey to play Snoop, “Nipsey was supposed to play Snoop,” Benny said. “We wanted him to play Snoop in All Eyez On Me… We didn’t have any other person that we wanted to play him.”

Unfortunately, Nipsey was booked and busy- which prevented him from being able to play that role. “It’s crazy because I didn’t realize, as much as I knew Nipsey — I didn’t realize how much he was driving things in his community, and to take him out of L.A. for that amount of time that we needed to come to Atlanta where we shot, would’ve just threw him off his square a little bit. Just the timing didn’t work out.”

Before Nipsey was tragically shot and killed, he was also filming for a CW show, All American. Boom states Nipsey will still appear in the show.

Rest In Peace Nipsey Hussle.
