If you do the crime, you’ll have to do the time!

That’s how it’s looking for Cuba Gooding Jr.

The actor could face one year in prison for his alleged sexual assault case. He was accused of touching someone inappropriately. A woman claims he grabbed her breast.

The alleged incident happened in NYC at the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge. Back in June, the academy award-winning actor was arrested/surrendered to the police and charged with forcible touching and sex abuse in the third degree. He was later released and pled not guilty.

The trial was scheduled to begin today (Sept. 3), but has been pushed back to October 10.

Reported on CNN, Gooding’s legal team was ready but prosecutors with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office argued for a later start.

Gooding has denied all allegations.
