Looks like Kevin Gates got handed a bad deal on this one.
The rapper was set to be released after being sentenced to six months for kicking a (former) fan in the face at a show in Florida back in 2015.
Instead he was put back in jail after officials found another warrant.
According to TMZ:
Today was the day Kevin would taste freedom again, but as he was being processed out of jail authorities found an outstanding weapons-related warrant, so he went back inside the pokey.
Gates has a hearing set for later today. It’s unclear what will happen.
