Lauryn Hill is currently on tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of her album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
Originally, Santigold and Nas was on the tour with Hill until it’s recent stop in Portland, Oregon this past Wednesday. Concert-goers were in for a huge surprise when they found out that the two were a no show, with no explanation as to why.
Santigold, singer, songwriter and producer, released a statement as to why she wasn’t at the show and announced that she will no longer be a part of the rest of tour.
I will no longer be performing on The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill Tour at the following dates due to the tour organizers’ decision to reduce the support. So sorry to disappoint my fans.
9/14: Vancouver, BC
9/15: Seattle, WA
9/22: Phoenix, AZ
9/26: Denver, CO

Nas, the Queens born rapper, has yet to make a statement about recent changes and cancellations on the tour, but as for now it looks like he will not be performing at some of the upcoming shows.
Stay tuned for updates.
