An old interview Jay-Z did with The Wall Street Journal goes viral.
Jay spoke with the Wall Street Journal about how profound most of his lyrics are, while explaining that he regretted writing some of the bars in “Big Pimpin.” “That’s the exception. It was like… I can’t believe I said that,” he said in 2010. “And kept saying it? What type of animal would say this sort of thing. Reading it is really harsh.”
The interview surfaced online, and many media outlets believed it was recent, yet the interview was from 2010. Since those comments, Jay has performed the smash hit tons of time, and it’s still one of the biggest rap songs.
This is #ClickBait
This is being reported as new when it's actually from a 2010 Wall Street Journal interview where JAY-Z talked about his book Decoded and his songwriting. No where did he say he regrets making "Big Pimpin'"
He has performed the song countless times since then https://t.co/OBzg55gzzv pic.twitter.com/LgGIgwVsz9

The viral interview comes following his collab with Nas on DJ Khaled’s new album. We know Jay doesn’t do much press, but recently he spoke with The Times UK, and spoke about his family, life during the pandemic, social media and more.
