President Joe Biden has been working hard in his first few months of office.
Just to name a few, Biden reversed a number of executive orders signed by Donald Trump, he vowed to re-engage with the World Health Organization, rejoined the 2015 Paris climate agreement and many more. However, there’s one thing Biden is NOT doing and online users are NOT happy.
Biden has no plans of forgiving $50,000 in student debt. During a town hall on Tuesday (Feb. 16), Biden said he’s willing to forgive only $10,000. Biden has made this clear in the past, he spoke about it in a Tweet last year.
Additionally, we should forgive a minimum of $10,000/person of federal student loans, as proposed by Senator Warren and colleagues. Young people and other student debt holders bore the brunt of the last crisis. It shouldn't happen again.
