It has been a horrific week in the United States of America with pipe bombs sent to foes of the President of the United States Donald Trump including the Clinton’s, Obama’s, CNN, and more. It was also a week where a man walked into a synagogue and tragically killed 11 people getting ready for mass.

During a rally only hours after the murders, Trump attended a rally where he used Pharrell Williams’ hit song “Happy” seeming tone deaf to the sensitivity of the tragedy.

Pharrell is now sending a cease-and-desist letter to Trump, blasting the president for not only the use of the song, but the timing of its use.

“On the day of the mass murder of 11 human beings at the hands of a deranged ‘nationalist,’ you played his song ‘Happy’ to a crowd at a political event in Indiana. There was nothing ‘happy’ about the tragedy inflicted upon our country on Saturday and no permission was granted for your use of this song for this purpose.”

The producer is also denying usage of any music from him.

Oh, by the way, despite requests from the Mayor of Pittsburgh to delay his visit to the city, Trump will be heading to Pittsburgh later today (Oct. 30).

Take a look at the full letter below.
