Philly Freeway is honoring his late son, Jihad, on his birthday.
The Roc Nation rapper made a special post on social media. Freeway shared a collection of photos/videos of Jihad, who passed away last year. Today (November 19) would have been his son’s 22nd birthday. In the caption, Philly said,
“Today, you would have been 22 years old. Jihad, I miss you & I Love you soo much! I pray that Allah continues to shower his mercy upon you, I pray that your grave is spacious, I will continue to make Dua you. And I pray that God Reunites us in paradise! Ameen.”

ABC reports Jihad died of complications of accidental drug intoxication. Before his untimely passing, Jahid followed in his father’s footsteps and was pursuing a music career. He went by the stage name SnowHadd.
Freeway’s 21-year-old daughter, Harmony, passed away earlier this year. She lost her battle with cancer.
