Rest in peace, Pop Smoke.

It’s been nearly two months since the untimely and tragic passing of Brooklyn rapper, Pop Smoke.  The rapper reportedly passed away in Los Angeles, on February 19, while on his way to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Reported on TMZ, the call begins with a lot of chaos as the 911 dispatcher repeatedly ask, “Hello?” With little to no response.  The dispatcher then asks if the alleged shooter was still in or around the house and the person responds, “I can’t talk to you anymore.”

The dispatcher tells the person, “Listen to me. I’m gonna tell you how to help this person.” The person replies, “okay, okay. I’m listening.”

The circumstances surrounding the young rapper’s death is still unclear.

Pop Smoke, born Bashar Barakah Jackson, tragically passed away following the 911 call.
