Fans were super hype to hear that J. Cole is gearing up to drop an album but it looks like that’s not true.

A member of Dreamville’s EARTHGANG, Olu, initially reported the news but the president of Dreamville, Ibrahim Hamad, is shutting that idea down. In a statement on Twitter Ibrahim said,

“Just to clarify, There is no Cole album coming out soon and There is no Cole interview coming up. Y’all be taking these IG live jokes people make too far lol. Usually I would of let y’all rock with the rumors but people really been hitting my phone too much about this.”

Last year J. Cole teases fans that his next album, The Fall Off, will drop sometime in 2020 but due to COVID-19, that could be on hold.
