President Trump gives an update for another stimulus package.
In a recent interview with Joe St. George, Trump gave an update about the possibility of receiving a second stimulus check and when people should expect t0 receive it.
“We will be doing another stimulus package,” he said. “It’ll be very good, it’ll be very generous. I think over the next…, I think it’s going to be bi-partisan, I think it’s going to be bi-partisan, I think it’s going to be over a couple of weeks, probably.”
Reports say that the stimulus check can possibly be discussed and deliberated when Senate returns in July.
As of right now, the Heroes Act is the only stimulus check related bill that was passed. This round of stimulus checks is similar to the CARES Act, in which adults received $1,200 and extra for up to three dependents.
These checks would be an estimated cost of $3 trillion.
