Quavo is heading to the big screen!

As reported on Hip Hop DX, the rapper is making his film debut in the upcoming movie, Wash Me in the River

Quavo will be acting alongside Robert De Niro, John Malkovich, and Jack Huston. According to the report, Quavo will play a “ruthless drug lord” named Coyote in the blockbuster, which is said to be “in the vein of No Country for Old Men.” Quavo told Variety,

“I honestly think this movie is going to be one of the greatest to come of this time. The experience was unbelievable for me, with Robert DeNiro and Jack Huston being so down to earth and making me feel like family.” The Migos rapper continued,

“Gonna see me doing some stunts and a lot of what you hear from me in my raps! This is one of my biggest debuts I’ve ever had, and so proud of what we did and to get to work with Randall who’s such an amazing guy — I can’t wait to do more films with him.”

Quavo has previous acting experience in Donald Glover’s Atlanta and made an appearance in Narcos. Quavo is also a producer in an upcoming horror film called The Resort. Huncho also launched a new show on YouTube called Supreme Courts where he goes around and shows historic basketball courts around the U.S.

Looks like Quavo is keeping his hands busy in the film world. Wash Me in the River is reportedly wrapping up filming in Puerto Rico. No release date yet but we’ll keep you updated.
