The R.Kelly drama continues.
The singer was recently issued a bench warrant for failing to appear in a Minnesota court on Thursday afternoon. Kelly was set to appear for a case in which he was accused of soliciting a 17-year-old girl to take off her clothes and dance for $200 back in 2001.
Kelly is currently in jail in Chicago awaiting trial for federal sex crimes. As reported by TMZ, the Northern District of Illinois Federal Authorities will not allow Minnesota prosecutors to gain access to the singer until his cases in Illinois are resolved.
The charges that R.Kelly is currently facing in Minnesota are for engaging in prostitution with someone under 18 and hiring/offering/agreeing to hire someone for sexual contact.
