R.Kelly’s Trial Delayed After Over 100 Electronic Devices Have Been Seized By The Feds

R.Kelly’s Chicago trial has been put on hold. As reported by Rolling Stone, Kelly pleaded not guilty to the 13 federal charges against him.

The prosecutor at the hearing Angel Krull stated that more charges may come about after federal agents received a search warrant and found more than 100 electronic devices including, cell phones, iPads, and hard drives.  

Kelly’s lawyer released the following statement, “We expect that they’re not going to find anything incriminating.”  The singer’s Chicago trial was set to take place on April 27th but has been pushed back to October 13th. His Brooklyn federal trial is scheduled to start on July 7th. 

Kelly is currently being held without in Chicago.
