Ray J Reportedly In Talks w/ Donald Trump To Pardon Suge Knight

Will Ray J come to save the day?

According to Daily Mail, the singer & Love & Hip Hop star is currently engaged in secret talks with the Trump Administration to pardon Suge Knight from prison.

The Death Row Records leader was convicted of manslaughter in 2018, and sentenced to 28 years after allegedly running over two men at a drive-thru in 2015. One man, Terry Carter died during the incident, and another man Cle Sloan was injured.

Knight recently cleared up rumors that he had handed Ray J his life rights during an interview with The Blast. During the conversation he revealed that he will be dealing with any dealings from the historic record label, Death Row Records.

“I respect Ray J and his business dealings,” he said. “That’s why I choose him as one of the guys to deal with the music side of the future for as Death Row Records, anything to do Death Row and it’s great to have him cause he will be putting out this incredible album and I heard it before.”

His ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian has been active in prison reform in recent months, and has been in active talks with the Trump administration on granding pardon’s and clemency to those who she felt deserved a second chance as a free citizen. Earlier this year, her influence allowed Alice Marie Johnson to be granted clemency after being arrested in 1996 on cocaine distribution and money laundering charges.
