Lala Anthony fans want to see her smiling!
The actress was a bridesmaid in her Power costar, Naturi Naughton’s wedding. Naturi married her fiancé, Xavier “Two” Lewis in Atlanta. Lala shared a video from the reception of her catching Naturi’s bouquet. In Lala’s video, she used the song “Self-Love” by Jayson Lyric and Nevaeh. The lyrics go, “I’ve been working on me. I’ve been loving on me. I had to learn to love myself.” In the caption, Lala said, “Now what are the chances of me catching the bouquet at @naturi4real & @twolewis_ beautiful wedding this weekend?? WE OUTSIIDDDEEEEEE OR NAH? somebody tell me what we doing?!!!”
Fans in the comment section were so happy for Lala. Some were shocked at how gracefully she caught it. One user wrote, “The fact that it literally landed in your hands.” Another person said, “Outside sis, you deserve to be HAPPY!” Another person said, “Yasss love is coming, and I’m here for it.” Another comment said, “We getting a Huzzzband,” and another, “Yassss, please, someone out there show her how much she deserves and more.”
After 11 years of marriage, Lala filed for divorce from Carmelo in June last year, citing irreconcilable differences. It was the second time they had split. In 2017 they separated after alleged infidelity; however, they seemingly reconciled in 2018. They share a 14-year-old son, Kiyan Carmelo Anthony.
Lala also spoke on a new romance for 2022 a few months ago. She said, “we’ll see what happens.” She also shared what she’s looking for in a partner. She wants someone she can have fun with, laugh, and have a good time with. Lala said, “chill and easy because that is pretty much my personality.”
